'Sleepy Hollow' Season 4 Premiere Date, News & Updates: Tom Mison Says Ichabod Crane, Jenny All About Abbie Mills In S4?

"Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 may be giving Ichabod Crane a new partner in Diana Thomas (Janina Gavankar) but Tom Mison reveals that his character and Jenny Mills (Lyndie Greenwood) are driven by Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie). Certainly, Ichabod Crane and Jenny Mills are going to find a whole new world with Diana Thomas in Washington D.C. come "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4.

Janina Gavankar is joining Tom Mison and Lyndie Greenwood as Diana Thomas on "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 out of necessity. Ichabod Crane and Jenny Mills jointly lost Abbie Mills when Nicole Beharie exited the series in the "Sleepy Hollow" Season 3 finale.

  The death of Abbie Mills in "Sleepy Hollow" Season 3 was not just a heartbreak for Ichabod Crane and Jenny Mills, but also for loyal Sleepyheads. Although buzz of Nicole Beharie leaving the series made the rounds even before "Sleepy Hollow" Season 3, the death of Abbie Mills was no less shocking.

Given Abbie Mills' exit, however, Ichabod Crane was snapped up for a secret organization in Washington D.C. right before the closing credits of the "Sleepy Hollow" Season 3 finale rolled. Similarly, Jenny Mills will find herself in Washington D.C. tracking the new Witness to stand in the place of Abbie Mills.

Parent Herald cites a Blastr interview with Tom Mison and Lyndie Greenwood, which revealed that Ichabod Crane and Jenny Mills will unexpectedly cross path in Washington D.C. in "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 Episode 1. Expectedly Ichabod Crane and Jenny Mills will be grieving the loss of Abbie Mills in their individual ways.

TVLine reports that Tom Mison warned that Ichabod Crane will not be exhibiting an emotional breakdown in "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 - neither will Jenny Mills. Instead, Tom Mison and Lyndie Greenwood agreed that the new "Sleepy Hollow" episodes will find Ichabod Crane and Jenny Mills made stronger by the life and sacrifice of Abbie Mills.

Rather than surviving the loss of Abbie Mills, Ichabod Crane and Jenny Mills are committed to becoming more inspired. Lyndie [Greenwood] and I were talking earlier about [how] it makes Ichabod and Jenny are far more driven now, because... [it's] for Abbie, rather than despite Abbie's death," Tom Mison explained.

Deadline reports that Ichabod Crane and Jenny Mills will have some trouble from Jobe (Kamar de los Reyes, "Blue Bloods"). Jobe will be right hand to "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 villain Malcolm Dreyfuss (Jeremy Davies).
