Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton Wedding Update: Couple's Friends Advice 'Don't Rush Your Relationship.' Holds Off Wedding

"The Voice" couple coaches can't wait to say their vows this year. But, rumors have been surging the internet that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are holding Off their wedding because of their friend's advice.

According to Life & Style Weekly, the celebrity couple has set to tie the knot this December. TMZ reported that the "Hollaback Girl" hitmaker hired luxury wedding planner Jerri Woolworth. Stefani, 47 and Shelton, 40 took their friend's advice not to rush their relationship.

As all the fans are aware of, the two were recently involved in dire straits with their exes. Going through controversial divorces, especially in public eye is the focal point as to why many are finding their relationship advancing a little too fast.

A number of insiders have reported that Stefani's friends were concern about their somewhat quick decision to get hitched. Both Shelton and Stefani were encouraged not to rush into their relationship. Besides, they have much time for the preparation of their wedding ceremonial.

A source claimed that the two have no problems moving wedding schedule sometime around next year. Postponing their nuptials does not indicate slowing down their relationship. Both of them have many plans for their future, one of them is to have a baby girl by next year.

Despite all the getting hitched postponement surrounding them, they all turned out to be just a gossip. Hall Of Fame Magazine published a report opposing the rumors, and simply labeled it as 'false tabloids stories.'

Furthermore, there are no television reports or an interview that can support the wedding postponement claims. Stefani and Shelton are just about to release their statement to put an end to these rumors.

Fans of the two "The Voice" lovebirds would have to wait for further updates, especially the official date of Stefani and Shelton's wedding.
