Boxing Champ Pacquiao Wants to Set Up Rematch With Undefeated Mayweather After He Knocks Out Vargas

As boxing fans search for a deeper motive inside the Manny Pacquiao vs Jessie Vagas fight, it is obvious that the eight-division world boxing champion Manny Pacquiao's intention was trying to lure out the retired undefeated Floyd Mayweather for a rematch from this fight. However, critics said that it will be only possible if Pacquiao knocks Vargas out.

Boxing news reported that the CBS chairman Allan Fox and chief executive Leslie Moonves both believed that there will be a high possibility that a rematch between the undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. and world boxing champ Manny Pacquiao would likely to happen.

According to the LA Times, Moonves told the boxing champ Manny Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach that he thinks the rematch can really take place. On one hand, Coach Roach and Pacquiao are both eager on having a second shot against the undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. after losing in 2015 with a unanimous decision in the title "fight of the century".

It would be great news for boxing fans if Moonves could persuade the undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr to fight boxing champ Pacquiao in 2017. It would be another huge fight, even if it only brings in only half the PPV buys compared with their previous fight.

The "Fight of the century" had brought in 4.6 million buys and those numbers were done with only a little money spent on promoting the event.

Freddie Roach said in the interview that he knows that the undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. is going to watch the boxing champ Pacquiao vs. Vargas fight. Floyd is back at his gym now, leading to the possibility of a rematch with boxing champ Pacquiao, reported by Sports Inquirer.

The only eight-division world boxing champ Manny Pacquiao would, of course, need to prove his worth against Vargas by winning their bout He needs a fancy knockout to lure out the undefeated Mayweather.
