Sombra Hacks Her Way Into ‘Overwatch,’ An Overview of The Offensive Team’s New Member

Another Blizzcon success is the confirmation of Sombra who is the newest member of the offensive team. Sombra is equipped with a machine pistol, hack, thermoptic camo, a translocator, and EMPs. Sombra is also known as the most notorious hacker in the world. But who and where did Sombra came from?

Sombra was a part of the "Omnic Crisis" (a revolt by Omnics or robots with AI against man) which left a trail of orphans on its path. Sombra was one of those orphans. Long before the orphan became Sombra, a Mexican gang called El Muerto took care of the child. The skills and abilities she had in hacking became one of the gang's weapons in a revolt against the government.

Fast forward into the future, the orphan has become a master of her craft. "Supremely confident" in her abilities, Sombra ventured deeper and deeper until she was caught in the web of a global conspiracy. The incident caused Sombra to delete all traces of her existence, hence the birth of Sombra.

Sombra used her abilities to uncover the conspiracy she became a part of. Launching a series of cyberattacks against major corporations, Sombra triggered one of Mexico's most popular revolution.

"Overwatch" is one of Blizzard's big game titles. The open beta of the game attracted 9.7 million players and was covered by the media 27,000 times. When the final game was announced that it's not free to play, a total of 700 articles were created for that topic. The final game received high review scores all over the gaming industry critics, having a rating of 8/10 for the lowest and got a perfect score 10/10 from 3 of the most sought out critic and media organization in gaming, Playstation Lifestyle, Game Informer, and Destructoid.
