Is Kristie Bennett Not Deserving To Win Australian 'Survivor' Season 3? 'Survivor' Legends Angry With The Outcome?

Last month's announcement of the winner for the game show series Australian "Survivor" left the public in shock. Kristie Bennett, described as a neurotic introvert, bagged the award as the sole Australian "Survivor."

Apparently, the viewers were not the only one surprised by the announcement. Australian "Survivor" contestants were also baffled over Bennett's victory. They believe that luck has got to do with Bennett's win over Lee Carseldine.

In a podcast, Australian "Survivor" contestant Felicity "Flick" Egginton expressed how she felt about Bennett's win. Kristie Bennett may not have reached the last round by coincidence, but as for Flick, she really got lucky. The 23-year-old Flick admitted all of them got lucky and Bennett was just luckier.

If recalled, there were lots of instances wherein the other contestants of the Australian "Survivor" had their chance to vote Kristie Bennett out. It's just that timing is on Bennett's side, either the contestants change their minds last minute due to someone or something.

Kristie Bennett decided Lee Carseldine and Elena "El" Rowland to move to the final three instead of Felicity "Flick" Egginton and Matt Tarrant. Although Flick still cannot believe what Bennett did, she complimented her for reaching that far and for winning the game.

Phoebe Timmins, the ruthless strategist, shared a similar reaction to Bennett's win. Having a good strategy is important but Phoebe admitted that luck plays a huge part in becoming the sole "Survivor."

Timmins recalled the times Kristie Bennett was about to be voted off yet she was saved every time. Though Bennett lacks in strategy, Timmins credited her performance during the tribunal council.

The diplomatic blonde, Phoebe Timmins believes that they need not deliver facts during the final tribal council. Kristie Bennett knew and recognized how to deliver the story she needs to sell to the council and it gave her the leverage she needed.

Both Flick and Timmins wanted Elena "El" Rowland to win the Australian "Survivor" if only she had reached the final tribal council. Flick thinks that the series Australian "Survivor" put Kristie Bennett in such a good light while El was under-credited.

Also, other "Survivor" legends agreed with Flick and Timmins. Stephen Fishback and Rob Casternino, both played in two seasons of American and Australian "Survivor," were unhappy with the result.

How do you feel about Kristie Bennett's win in "Survivor" Australia? Do you think she did not deserve to win?
