Effects of Early Unwanted Pregnancy

A lot of youth today are so into having their families without knowing the weight of the responsibility that it might cause them.  From CDC, a number of 249,078 babies were born in the US. All born from teenage mothers.According to them, teenage pregnancies have lowered down compared to the 2013 percentage without known reason. They think that teens use contraceptives upon doing some sexual acts. All though it has lowered down, they still say that the number is still at a very considerable significant number.

Based on Live Strong by the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry  teens, who get pregnant, suffer from different medical problems like anemia, preeclampsia, hypertension, placenta previa. Progressive medical care is very needed for medical problem prevention for the baby and the mother's safety. They also go through emotional struggles if they hate to have the baby which may cause them to become reckless in their actions like self- miscarriage or even trying to kill their selves. They also begin to worry about their future as a mother. They think that they don't even know how to take care of their  baby and become scared of nurturing their baby will affect their fate. About schooling, it will be delayed or eventually some stops from studying to give attention to their child or get wed.

These are just a few of the things that teenagers go through during their early pregnancy. Parents normally get angry and disappointed about this problem, but it doesn't necessarily mean that they should hate their child forever. In this tough matter, teenagers need the support of their parents. They should guide them not pushing their own belief. Open discourse is a must between pregnant teens and parents. In all matters, ' Good Communicating' is the best way to solve problems.
