Chelsea Courtois Denied Trade Rumors to Real Madrid; GoalKeeper Insisted That Chelsea Is the Best Team for Him

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois denied every rumor that he is transferring to Real Madrid. Courtois strongly insisted that Chelsea is the best team and his future career will be fortified with it.

According to Sports Ina Storm, Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois said he never had anything with Real Madrid and did not have any contact with the Spanish football club. Courtois said he was happy at Chelsea and everything was going very well. It is a great club and things are going smooth with an excellent atmosphere.

He even said in an earlier interview that he would like to return to the Spanish La Liga one day after enjoying loan spells with Atletico Madrid. Then, Courtois stated that he will not make any decision until he is at his final year with Chelsea. In fact, his contract will expire in the next two years.

However, the Belgian international is currently enjoying football with Chelsea and has no intention of leaving the Stamford Bridge just yet. The 24-year-old Chelsea goalkeeper Courtois is currently on international duty with Belgium as they prepare for a World Cup qualifier.

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois was also awarded as the best goalkeeper in La Liga and won the Ricardo Zamora Trophy in the 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 seasons. Courtois made his senior international debut in 2011 and became the youngest goalkeeper to represent Belgium. Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois had earned over 40 caps and appeared at the 2014 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2016.
