Hillary Clinton Loses 2016 Presidential Elections, Gives Concession Speech; Tells Little Girls That They Are Valuable, Powerful

Hillary Clinton accepted her defeat as she gave a concession speech urging the Americans to support GOP president-elect Donald Trump and accept his win. She also gave a special mention to young girls noting that they are valuable and powerful.

Quartz reported that Hillary Clinton was expected to give a victory speech on Tuesday evening but she instead gave a concession speech. Many women and girls all over the world, who have been strong supporters of Hillary Clinton and are strong oppositions against Donald Trump due to his comments over women, were reportedly disappointed and disheartened over their candidate's loss.

Speaking to the woman and girls that Hillary Clinton supports, she shared during her concession speech that if little girls are watching her talk, she urged them "never doubt that you are valuable, powerful and deserving of every opportunity in the world and every chance to pursue your own dreams."

Hillary Clinton added that the women who put their faith in her have made her proud that she is their champion. She also made them hope that they will shatter the highest and hardest glass ceiling, maybe not now but hopefully sooner than they think, Vox reported.

During the campaign of Hillary Clinton, they released an advertisement showing girls looking at mirrors as Donald Trump was seen and heard talking about women and his sexist remarks in general. The caption used for the advertisement asks the voters if Donald Trump is the president they want for their daughters. The ad has received more than 5.4 million views on YouTube and has been shared on social media numerous times.

The win of Donald Trump was also shocking since weeks before the presidential elections, an audio has leaked where the president-elect was heard talking about how grabbing women by their private part is okay because he is a celebrity and he could do whatever he wants to. Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, used those issues to her advantage.

If Hillary Clinton would have won this presidential election, she could have been the first ever female president of the United States. Are you a Hillary Clinton supporter? What are your thoughts on Donald Trump's win? Let us know in the comments below.
