According to the outlet, the "Sorry" hitmaker approached actress Rebel Wilson to discuss the possibility of him joining the new flick. Speculations have sent fans into a frenzy when it was suggested that his role could be a love interest for Hailee's character in the movie.

While Anna Kendrick's return in "Pitch Perfect 3" remains to be in question, Rebel and Britanny Snow's return has already been confirmed. As for Adam DeVine, the actor has previously confirmed to the LA Times that he has yet to receive a call asking him to return to the set of "Pitch Perfect 3."
