'Wonder Woman' News & Updates: Gal Gadot Wants The Superhero To Have A Girlfriend

Comic fans got the surprise of their life when "Wonder Woman" in the comics featured a somewhat same-sex relationship. They are intrigued if the TV sequel would follow the trend. Gal Gadot, who plays Wonder Woman, is thrilled with the idea especially if the girlfriend happens to be the actress Halle Berry, also known as Catwoman.

Gadot recalls seeing Berry recently and she admires the actress for her beauty and talent. Reportedly, Gadot is sold to the idea that Wonder Woman and Catwoman should have an interaction somehow in the succeeding DC films. 

Meanwhile, the Israeli actress also has exciting news about her personal life. As reported by Wired, Gadot is currently pregnant with her second child. She reportedly found out that she's pregnant just before finishing filming the "Justice League" movie, as per Cosmic Book News. Despite having a baby bump, Gadot managed to attend a UN meeting, met with Lynda Carter, the original Wonder Woman, and completed shooting for the movie. 

The 31-year-old actress posted a black-and-white photo on her Instagram account, with a caption announcing her excitement over her pregnancy news. Gadot is obviously proud of being a mom and she intends to be a good role model to her young daughter and upcoming child.

Gadot is also thrilled to be playing a strong woman in the DC comics franchise, especially since the world of superheroes is clearly dominated by men such as Superman and Batman. According to Travelers Today, Gadot's daughter even commented that she would rather be a prince than a princess, because princesses just sleep and wait for the prince's kiss.
