‘Pretty Little Liars’ Season 7 News & Updates: Finale Will Be Intense And Bloody; Fan Favorite Couple Reunites? [SPOILERS]

Ever since the news of thriller-mystery fan-favorite television show, "Pretty Little Liars", end was announced, fans have been speculating what will happen in its last season. "PLL" author, Sara Shepard, was able to visit the set on its last day of filming and has this to say: "The finally is going to be really intense".

"Pretty Little Liars" author Sara Shepard has a new book series that will surely keep us on our toes. "The Amateurs" is about four young adults trying to crack a cold case. "PLL" author Sara Shepard even has written with a male point-of-view this time. "The Amateurs" has been inspired by the podcast "Serial" and instead of the killer going for the young adults a la "Pretty Little Liars", "The Amateurs" are the ones trying to find the killer and solving the case.

Unlike "Pretty Little Liars", "The Amateurs" rely heavily on social media and a hybrid secret app Sara Shepard concocted on the book. It's going to reflect the modern teenager and how technology has become a constant in their lives.

Moving on to "Pretty Little Liars", the New York Times bestselling author was able to visit the set on its last day of filming. "PLL" author Sara Shepard shared she was able to finally meet all of the cast especially Janel Parrish, who plays Mona, and Sasha Pieterse, who plays Allison, who she wasn't able to meet last time. Sara Shepard adds that "Everyone ["Pretty Little Liars" cast and crew] were so sad [on the last day of filming "PLL]. We had cake and champagne to close out the series".

Although Freeform's adaptation of "Pretty Little Liars" differs from the "PLL" books, Sara Shepard, just like the rest of the fans, are happy with how everything stayed in the "Pretty Little Liars" universe but added twists and turns that no one, not even "PLL" author Sara Shepard, thought of. What the "PLL" author does know from her set visit is, the final season of "Pretty Little Liars" is going to be more intense and bloodier than usual.

It means someone or a lot of someones are going to die on "Pretty Little Liars" season 7 but we're hoping it's not any of the "PLL" ladies. But the "Pretty Little Liars" author Sara Shepard hopes that in the final season, couples like Spoby, Haleb, and most especially Ezria would reunite. She even adds

that she'd one to see the Emison couple too!

Don't be sad "Pretty Little Liars" fans, according to Sara Shepard, "The Amateurs" is being optioned for a television adaptation too! So with the end of "Pretty Little Liars", we'd get "The Amateurs", another Sara Shepard book series, to hopefully replace it in the future! Catch the last season of "Pretty Little Liars" coming this April 2017.
