"Code Black" Season 2 cancellation news reveals that the show continues to experience a huge drop in ratings. According to TV Series Finale, the average ratings for the current season is 0.98 in the 18-49 demographics, which is 22.83 percent lower than last season's ratings.

It would be wise to note, however, that in "Code Black" Season 2 episode 6, the show was able to draw in a huge number of audience. This may be due to the fact that the show featured two of the most compelling storylines yet.

As Screener reports, in "Code Black" Season 2 episode 6 titled "Hero Complex," the show talked about the case of a college student named Joy. She was found in the campus raped and she was also admitted to the same hospital as the person who raped her and the one who saved her.

"Code Black" Season 2 episode 6 also featured an emotional moment between a mother and daughter. The latter was suffering from a degenerative disease and she chose to end her life rather than go through the end stage of her illness.

"Code Black" Season 2 airs every Wednesday on CBS.
