Charlie Cox Hinted On The Death Of Ben Urich At 'Netflix Marvel Universe'

As "Netflix Marvel Universe", Doctor Strange has reached its no. 14 installment in the MCU. The best TV shows are also created by Netflix. The Daredevil feature introduced New York as the venue where most of the adventures happened with Rosario Dawson's Claire Temple.

Everything went well when Ben Urich (Vondie Curtis Hall), a mainstay character was fiercely beaten by Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) and it ultimately caused his untimely demise. Uric's presence has been evident in "Netflix Marvel Universe" for many years and with his removal now, nothing can be predicted, as per Bleeding Cool.

It's not the first time that prominent characters suddenly died. "Daredevil," "Luke Cage," and "Jessica Jones" also had some parts that eliminate the main cast for a twist in the story.Charlie Cox who is Matt Murdock discloses this in Wizard World during an interview in Pittsburgh.

Cox implies that it was necessary to get rid of Urich in "Netflix Marvel Universe" to allow a different turn of events. Sure it creates drama and disbelief among followers but without Ben Ulrich, the producers are now free to take the show to anywhere possible, according to Cinema Blend.

Quality is surely retained when the sense of familiarity is broken; no characters should be untouchable to continue the excitement that is the key to the success of many suspense thriller productions. Charlie Cox considers Ben Ulrich as the critical turning point for "Daredevil" stint at "Netflix Marvel Universe" - because this is not the case in the comics.

In "Luke Cage," the killing off the main villain had the same effects. It shocked the  audience but the point has been made that the MCU is not a safe place for any character. For sure, someone would also die in The Defenders. The only question is who it is going to be?

The Defenders should be a reward for Netflix subscribers who completed the four Marvel shows including "Netflix Marvel Universe". Here is where the heroes can team up in foursomes to protect New York. This might be the reason why Charlie Cox's two costars are hesitant to merge with the villainous Bullseye. They can end just like that.
