‘One Punch Man’ Season 2 Air Date: Anime Confirmed To Release In Early 2017? New Season To Focus On ‘Hero Hunt’ Arc

"One Punch Man" Season 2 will reportedly follow the plot of its manga counterpart. New reports claimed that the second season of "One Punch Man" will begin with the "Hero Hunt" arc which comprised Chapter 45 to 51 of the manga series. The story will see Saitama come face to face with the arc's main antagonist, Garou, also known as "Human Monster."

In "One Punch Man" manga series, Saitama and Garou engaged in a fight when Saitama suddenly appeared after Garou punched a Hero Association staff member Muffintop. Garou thought that Saitama was hunting him so he hit Saitama near his shoulder. This angered Saitama so he retaliated by attacking Garou with the same move, knocking out his opponent.

Prior to the above incident, Garou has been attacking Hero Association members, including Mumen Rider and Tanktop Master. Tanktop Master's brothers were brutally beaten by Garou but Mumen Rider and Tanktop Master cannot match Garou's skills. Because of this, Tanktop Master warned Saitama that Garou is hunting the strongest heroes on "One Punch Man" manga and Saitama believed that he could be the next in his list.

Meanwhile, "One Punch Man" Season 2 official premiere date has not been confirmed as of this posting. The animated series, however, is speculated to return in early 2017. In a previous report from Parent Herald, it was stated that "One Punch Man" Season 2 may air before the year ends but Madhouse Entertainment has not revealed any specific details about it release date yet.
