‘One Punch Man’ Season 2 Air Date, Latest News, Update: Saitama Betrayed By Genos? Lord Boros Returns For Revenge, Release Date Moved

"One Punch Man" Season 2 is expected to air before this year ends. However, no reports have surfaced regarding the official release date of the highly anticipated animated series yet. Does this mean that "One Punch Man" Season will not air this year?

"One Punch Man" Season 2 is suggested to air in October but there are only a few days left before the month ends yet Madhouse Entertainment has not made an official announcement of its release. Though an October launch date seems to be impossible, there are still two months left before the year ends so fans can still expect the series to return this year. However, recent reports claimed that "One Punch Man" Season 2 will air in early 2017.

"One Punch Man" Season 2, meanwhile, is said to feature a possible love story between Saitama and a character from his past. Additionally, there is also a new villain lurking within Saitama's group and it is believed to be Genos, AsiaStarz reported. Apparently, Genos is speculated to betray Saitama as he diverts his anger to his master for a reason that fans need to find out on "One Punch Man" Season 2.

Saitama is also expected to face more battles on "One Punch Man" Season 2 but he will apparently be in bad shape after his fight with Lord Boros from the previous season. Lord Boros is speculated to return to seek revenge on Saitama and he will be stronger and powerful this time, Headlines&GlobalNews reported. It remains to be seen how Saitama will be able to defeat Lord Boros again given his condition on "One Punch Man" Season 2.

Apart from Lord Boros, Saitama is also suggested to engage in a battle with Amai Mask and Garou. Garou is said to be keeping grudges against Saitama and he is suspected to finally try to defeat Saitama, ChattSportsNet reported. Could Amai Mask and Garou defeat Saitama on "One Punch Man" Season 2?
