The Exclusive ‘Resident Evil 7’ US Collector’s Edition Announced: Less Items With More Expensive Price?

The "Resident Evil 7" Collector's Edition has been revealed for the US market. However, the package comes less than what the Italy listing showcased.

The "Resident Evil 7" collector's edition for the US market was revealed yesterday by GameStop. The same company who listed the "Resident Evil 7" collector's edition in their Italy website without the game disc has now announced the US version with the game disc but without the other collectibles.

The announcement made contained more collectible items than what was listed in their Italy website. "The Resident Evil 7" collector's edition includes the following trinkets: the creepy mansion music box (8 inches tall) that plays a sample of Aunt Rhody with accompanying LED effects, the severed dummy finger 4G USB drive, VHS tape box for the dummy finger, an exclusive lithograph that showcased the Bakers, and a creepy note from one of the mansion's resident.

Comparing it to the previously announced Italy version which comes without the game disc, as previously reported by Parent Herald), this version seems to be missing a couple of "Resident Evil 7" collector's edition trinkets like the 20th anniversary Resident Evil artbook, five lithograph with envelope, which is numbered and limited, an exclusive three alternative covers and the DLC exclusive.

The GameStop Italy version of the "Resident Evil 7" collector's edition, based on AttackOfTheFanboy's article, can be purchased at €99.98 or $105 without the game and a bundle with the game will cost €150.96, which are equivalent to $159.84 for the PS4 and €160.96 or $17.43 for the Xbox One. Aall currency conversions are based on the currency exchange rates as of press time.

The recently announced "Resident Evil 7" collector's edition for the US is currently priced at $179.99 for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game. To sum up, the "Resident Evil 7" collector's edition looks like a good deal, if purchased in GameStop Italy.
