‘Final Fantasy XV’ News & Updates: Japan Get's FFXV 'Judgement Disk' Demo; Some Glitches Found?

With only days left before the announced date of the much-awaited "Final Fantasy XV" game by Square Enix on November 29 for the Xbox One and PS4, the developers launched "FF XV: Judgement disk," a Japanese-only demo of the game.

According to Anime News Network, the "Judgement disk" demo runs from the opening of the game until the middle of the chapter and is set in easy mode. Players who will finish the demo will get bonus footage from the full "Final Fantasy XV" game.

Silliconiera reported that the demo game of "Final Fantasy XV" is expected to have a play time of an hour and a half. However, the demo game data will not be transferable to the full game.

The demo game is available in the Japanese PlayStation and Xbox stores. Originally scheduled for release last September, Square Enix announced on August that "Final Fantasy XV" will be delayed because they want to deliver the game in the best quality possible, especially for high-end consoles like the Xbox One and PS4. So despite having the master version of the game finished, Square Enix opted to delay release.

Some players who got to try out the "Final Fantasy XV: Judgement Disc" demo mentioned some in-game bugs and glitches, like one character standing up while driving or the water turning a different color. Though they don't mention whether the bugs appear on both the Xbox One and PS4, most players speculate that these bugs are from the development stage of the game and would most likely not appear in the final release.

Square Enix slated the schedule for "Final Fantasy XV" release to November 29, 2016. The game will also have a deluxe edition, which will come with three DLCs, a book, and a copy of "Final Fantasy XV" film "Kingsglaive: Final fantasy XV." The deluxe Edition is on pre-order for $89.99.

A collector's edition bundle will also be available for $269.99. The bundle will include all items in the Deluxe pack, with an addition of a Play Arts Kai figure of Noctis, a 192-page art book, and a soundtrack from the game and the "Final fantasy XV" anime "Brotherhood" and more "Final Fantasy XV" merchandises.
