UFO Sightings: NASA Covered Up An ‘Alien Sighting’; ISS Live Stream Cut Off After UFO Appears

UFO sightings are often accompanied by conspiracy theories. The conspiracy theorists recently claimed that NASA is once again hiding evidence of UFO sightings. This rumor started after a live stream was cut off from the International Space Station (ISS) immediately after a fast moving object was spotted flying by the orbiting laboratory.

The video of the footage was uploaded on YouTube later and it revealed a white speck emerging from the darkness just above the horizon of Earth.

According to reports, the ISS feed was seen cutting to a gray screen just before the alleged UFO traveled out of sight. This was an interesting point to note. After the screen turned gray, it was followed by a message which said, "Please stand by. The High Definition Earth Viewing experiment is either switching cameras, or we are experiencing a temporary loss of signal with the International Space Station."

This is not the first time that the UFO enthusiasts have claimed to have spotted unidentified flying objects flying near the ISS. The previous claims were also based on footage from ISS' live streaming. As many recall, this is not the first time and in the last six months there were at least three other instances where NASA has allegedly cut the live feed from ISS. And each of these instances was after a UFO was seen making its way in the video footage.

Last month, an ufologist uploaded a video from the NASA stream which revealed a mysterious orb sailing above Earth. Earlier in June 2016, a footage was seen from NASA's live feed which apparently revealed yet another UFO. This had a more fireball-like appearance, flying through space. Even before that, in April 2016, NASA had allegedly covered up one more incident of a possible alien sighting by cutting the live feed from the ISS. This is after a horseshoe-shaped UFO appeared on the screen, reported Daily Mail Online.

According to reports, NASA had plans of discontinuing the ISS live stream on their website which was announced in July. This news was not received well by conspiracy theorists, ufologists and alien hunters. They took it as NASA's attempt to hide evidence of extraterrestrial life. Even NASA had not released a statement at that time to explain the abrupt decision to cut out live streaming. However, it should be noted that the space agency does not comment on or clear up any allegations, reported Science World Report.

"Reflections from station windows, the spacecraft structure itself or lights from Earth commonly appear as artefacts in photos and videos from the orbiting laboratory," a NASA spokesperson had explained earlier.
