'Final Fantasy XV' Release Date, News & Update: New Trailer Shows Gameplay Mechanics And More [Details Here]

"Final Fantasy XV" has a new trailer "Final Fantasy XV - 101 Trailer Extended Cut" that show more gameplay and more details on the playable characters. A few days more and "Final Fantasy XV" will be officially released.

The trailer shows the dynamic combat mechanics of "Final Fantasy XV", player characters are seen moving around in the battlefield as opposed to the gameplay of older games. In "Final Fantasy" releases prior to "Final Fantasy XV" combat was simply composed of having the player's party stand in one place during battle and would only move from their positions during attacks or summons.

"Final Fantasy XV" might have a gameplay similar to "Crisis Core", the "Final Fantasy VII" sequel that was released exclusively on the PlayStation Portable. In "Crisis Core" combat required a more active role from the player, players would have to move around while dodging, casting spells, and attacking. From what is shown in the trailer, it seems that players of "Final Fantasy XV" will need some reflex skills to pull off the moves of each character.

Summons will also be another feature of "Final Fantasy XV". Square Enix has been known to produce some of the best CGI scenes in the gaming industry, and the summons of "Final Fantasy XV" show us a sample of the creative digital mastery of Square Enix.

As usual, players can expect the regular summons such as Shiva, Ifrit, and Bahamut among others to make their appearances again. The graphic engines used in "Final Fantasy XV" make the in-game cut scenes almost indistinguishable from the gameplay graphics.

According to International Business Times, the "Final Fantasy XV" trailer displays the graphic prowess of Square Enix through snippets of some cut scenes as well as some from the movie Kingsglaive. "Final Fantasy XV" will be available worldwide on November 29.
