Apple Joins Black Friday Retailer Stampede, What Changed Their Minds?

The Black Friday Sale is almost here and amazing deals are now enticing buyers to shell out their hard-earned money. Are you planning on getting that new Macbook? Well, now is the time to buy as Apple has just joined the Black Friday retailer stampede!

According to CNET, giant retailers such as Walmart, Target and Best Buy are already starting to slash prices on iPads, iPhones, and Mac computers in line with the Black Friday Sale. All this time, we have anticipated that Apple will skip the shopping holiday like what it has always done in the past.

Checking Apple's official page, the tech company has confirmed their decision to join the Black Friday holiday sale in a concise yet clear promotional announcement. This brings up the impression that Apple's old gadget models will be heavily discounted, knowing that iPhone 7 has arrived.

However, we are yet to find out how much discount the tech company is willing to slash off for the sake of Black Friday. As some critics have noted, Apple has a reputation for being tight with their discounts. Meanwhile, Apple has acknowledged the tight competition between popular electronic brands. This may be the reason why the company considered to join the Black Friday and give discounts.

Their Black Friday promos are often not as comparable as the aforementioned stores. Apple will either put a %10 off or provide free items with the full-priced purchases. The highly sought-after tech company acknowledges they have rivals to compete against and a price cut is often preferred by customers than incentives.

Wired even reported in a funny context that the Apple fans in the United Kingdom are also celebrating their version of Thanksgiving. Retailers around the UK are also cutting their prices ahead. Black Friday is now less than two weeks away, let's just hope Apple will have massive markdowns on their fan-favorite gadgets such as the Macbook Pro, iPhone, iPad, and Apple watches.
