Is Lady Gaga Also Suffering From Mental, Emotional Health Problems Due To Fame? Singer Talks About Craving Freedom

After Selena Gomez voluntarily cancelled her shows because she wanted to focus on her mental health and after Kanye West was hospitalized at a Los Angeles-area hospital also due to his mental health, Lady Gaga talked about craving freedom because of fame. The artist has showed her support both for Kanye West and Selena Gomez.

International Business Times reported that the "Million Reasons" singer appeared on the CBS show "Sunday Morning" and she talked about how her life has changed so much since she became famous. She pointed out that she feels like she no longer has freedom due to the attention she has been receiving from being famous.

The "Poker Face" songstress added that she finds peace and solace whenever she is at her home and by the time she leaves, it gives her anxiety. She noted, "I'm very acutely aware that once I cross that property line I'm not free anymore." Lady Gaga continued to reveal that whenever she goes out into the world, she feels that in a way she belongs to everyone else. Lady Gaga said that because of fame, it is legal to follow her or stalk her wherever she goes and she cannot call the police or ask fans or followers to leave her.

The songstress, who was once engaged to Taylor Kinney, said that she misses being able to interact with people. However, despite feeling that she is restricted to a lot of things, she is free at heart. Lady Gaga has made a name in the industry back in 2008.

Morning Ticker also reported that she said she misses people, going places, and meeting a random person then saying "Hi." Lady Gaga also noted that she loves people and wants to have conversation with them about life.

In another interview, Lady Gaga compared fame to a powerful drug noting that it is the best drug that has ever existed. However, it also has downsides because once a person realizes who they are and what they care about, the need for more fame vanishes but they are still famous. Lady Gaga said that what matters to her now is she has a great family, she works hard, takes care of those around her, and provide jobs for people she loves as well as make music that she hopes sends good message to the world.

In an interview earlier this year with Harper's Bazaar, Lady Gaga also talked about being famous. She said that it took her quite a time to release her latest album entitled "Joanne" because she wanted to experience music again the way she did when she was younger.
