Harry Potter Christmas Tree Made By Super Fan Goes Viral Online [PHOTO]

An avid Potterhead has been given an early Merry Christmas from J.K. Rowling after her "Harry Potter"-themed Christmas tree became viral online.

British woman Kathryn Burnett decided to put together her love for the holiday season and the popular book series by creating a Christmas tree that is embellished with Harry Potter memorabilia, which she collected from her trips to the Warner Bros studio shops in London.

The 29-year-old confessed that she's been a fan of the kid wizard ever since she read "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," which was released in 1997, for the first time. She has also visited the studio a total of 11 times.

Burnett's six-foot-three masterpiece, which took eight hours to create, contains a replica of the Sorting Hat on top. It also has Draco Malfoy's broomstick, Arthur Weasley's flying car, the Hogwart's Express, Hermione's time turner and Harry's glasses.

"I have a good collection of 'Harry Potter' merchandise and I was thinking one day that it was a shame I kept it all in boxes in the cupboard under the stairs," Burnett said in an interview with ABC News. When asked about the hardest part of putting up the special Harry Potter Christmas tree, Burnett says: "I would say placing most of the items on as they weren't tree decorations."

A photo of her tree was posted by her friend on Twitter and has been liked and retweeted more than a thousand times. The photo even got a like from the woman behind the popular books herself. "I couldn't believe it, to me it is just my tree in my living room," she said, according to the Daily Mail.

Burnett admitted that the positive responses for her Harry Potter Christmas tree have been overwhelming for her. "I have got 1,000 friend requests from people, other Harry Potter fans," she said.

Burnett reveals that the Harry Potter Christmas tree will be up until after the New Year. The memorabilia will be placed in their respective boxes and will take time to take down "as it did to put up."
