'Kingdom Hearts 3' Release Date, News & Update: Square Enix Releasing HD Remakes In March 2017; 'KH3' Available In April 2017!

"Kingdom Hearts 3" is coming out soon but the HD remakes will be coming a bit earlier. Square Enix confirmed that HD 1.5 and 2.5 Remix will be released on PlayStation 4 in the first quarter of 2017. Here's the latest scoop we have about the anticipated titles.

Many are waiting for the third installment of the "Kingdom Hearts" series. However, Square Enix is still working on it but the team confirmed that they are releasing the HD remake in March 2017.

Per VG24/7, the "Kingdom Hearts" HD 1.5 and 2.5 remix is a compilation of the main games and will be a great catch up for "KH3." The "Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix" includes the "Final Mix," "Chain of Memories" and the "Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days" Remastered Cinematics.

Meanwhile, the 2.5 Remix includes the "KH2: Final Mix," "Birth by Sleep Final Mix" and "Kingdom Hearts Re: Coded." This compilation will surely be a treat to anyone expecting for the anticipated "KH3."

Speaking of "Kingdom hearts 3," Parent Herald previously reported that the title is coming out in April 2017. This release date spring from Square Enix's financial report but at the time fans should still take it with a grain of salt until the publishers confirmed it.

A number of worlds are expected in "Kingdom Hearts 3." Reports have it that it will include "Big Hero 6," "Tangled," "Zootopia," "Frozen" and "Star Wars." A number of other Marvel and Lucas properties may join the franchise as a new world.

Aside from the worlds mentioned above, there are rumors that "Toy Story" and Avengers will be featured in the upcoming title. Also, there are speculations about an evil Bay Max. Overall, "Kingdom Hearts 3" will revolve in the final keyblade war between Sora and his friends, and Master Xenahort.
