‘Bones’ Season 12 News & Updates: Fox Series Finale Title Revealed; Is Zack Addy ‘The Puppeteer’?

The catchy storyline of "Bones" and the witty exchange between "Temperance" and "Booth" will finally come to an end. It took 12 long years, but the final season of this well-followed Fox series will be aired on Tuesday, Jan. 3, at 9 p.m. EST. Fans who are looking forward to "Bones" Season 12 will not be disappointed.

"Bones" Season 12 will be "The End In The End." According to avid followers, this is such a befitting title to close the crime drama. Reports said "Bones" Season 12 will also have 12 episodes, which is just enough to tie up loose ends in the long-running story line. For one, the identity of "The Puppeteer" is believed to be former intern, Zack Addy. The once sweet guy had kidnapped Temperance for still undisclosed reasons.

Production staff and producers have yet to confirm if Zack Addy's character will be the final villain that "Bones" and "Booth" will have to contend with in Fox series finale "Bones" Season 12. According to HNGN, "Bones" Season 12 will also feature a wedding. Of course, it will be Cam (Tamara Taylor) and Arastoo (Pej Vahdat).

Among the guests who are expected to appear in the remaining episodes of "Bones" Season 12 are Betty White as Dr. Beth Mayer, Stephen Fry as chef Gordon Wyatt, Eddie McClintock as Sully, Ed Asner, and Hal Hoolbrook.

The first episode of Fox series finale will air on Tuesday, January 3, and will open with a very angry "Booth." He just learns that his wife has been abducted by the psychologically unstable Zack Addy, whom he had considered as a close personal friend. "Booth" is hell-bent on keeping his family together, and here is where the suspicion that Zack Addy has turned into a major villain, has stemmed from.

On the other hand, the other members of the crew, Angela, and Hodgins, do their best to crack the case and bring Temperance back home.

Stay tuned for more information on "Bones" Season 12.
