‘Super Mario Maker,’ ‘Dead Rising 4,’ And ‘The Last Guardian,’ Ready For December’s Video Game List?

The final month of 2016 is here. And to start off the month of December, here is the list of the games scheduled for launch within the next 30 days.

The following list does not include free games offered thru PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold. On Dec. 1, "Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney" will make its way to the IOS, the Android version will be available on Dec. 8. This mobile version of the "Ace Attorney" series is criticized for its redundancy and poorly designed riddle system.

Gliding through the snowy mountainside on Dec. 2 is Ubisoft's open-world extreme sports adventure called "Steep," a combination of skiing, gliding and other adrenaline-pumping activities and the "Super Mario Maker" for the 3DS is also going to make its debut on the same date.

On Dec. 6, Microsoft's survival game "Dead Rising 4" will unleash unorthodox methods of killing zombies into the gaming community together with "The Last Guardian's" long-awaited launch which was delayed for seven years, making its debut on the same day is the VR game "Werewolves Within" for the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and PSVR.

"Bastion" action role-playing video game developed by independent developer Supergiant Games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will be ported to the Xbox One. While "Shantae: Half-Genie Hero" is the latest installment in the Shantae series created by Wayforward Technologies. This new installment allows players to play as Shantae's villainous nemesis, Risky Boots, who uses "Tinker-tools" as substitutes to Shantae's powers, "Shantae: Half-Genie hero" and "Bastion" will hit the stores on Dec. 12.

Running towards the IOS platform is Nintendo's latest contribution to mobile gaming which is the "Super Mario Run" on Dec. 15. Dec. 20 will open a new chapter in TellTale's "The Walking Dead" series with its new episode "A New Frontier" which will be accessible to just about everyone with a video game console, phone, tablet, or other mobile devices.

The following dates are considered final and do not include the announced games, which do not have a firm release date, according to Polygon. With the PlayStation Experience happening on Dec. 1, additional games may possibly be added to this list.
