'Fresh Off The Boat' Season 3 Episode 6 Recap: 'WWJD: What Would Jessica Do?' Costco Or Church?

"Fresh Off The Boat" Season 3 Episode 6 kick started with Jessica getting Evan a Costco membership card. Jessica and Evan have a Sunday tradition where they head to Costco to buy bulk goods for the family.

Costco is Jessica Huang's happy place. She mentioned she feels calm whenever she enters Costco and knowing all the bulk deals are waiting to be purchased just gives her happiness, according to Vulture. Evan and Jessica would read books, weighing goods and buying things in bulk. It's a mother and son bonding that they both enjoy, until Evan's friend, Zack, invited him to head to church.

"Fresh Off The Boat" Season 3 Episode 6 was centered around Costco, according to Vulture. However, when Evan went to church on one Sunday, it turns out he liked it. Jessica got sad because she doesn't have anyone to go to Costco with every Sunday. What seems to upset her is the fact that she thinks she might have lost Evan to something she doesn't understand.

Jessica Huang pointed out that her family was not the religious type and it's strange for her. She doesn't fully understand why Evan likes talking to God and go to church with his friend, Zack, than head to Costco instead. Jessica also made an attempt to talk to Evan and pretended to be God so she could persuade him to not head to church, but it didn't work out.

Meanwhile, in Episode 6 of "Fresh Off The Boat" Season 3, Louis Huang gave his neighbor, Marvin the dentist, a "friend's price" at his restaurant. In exchange, Marvin invited Louis to head to his office for teeth cleaning with whitening. As a result, Louis' teeth have gone the whitest, which Marvin called "birth white," and that it almost looked like paint. He was so ashamed of the outcome that when Marvin asked him to smile, Louis refused and that led to a painful exchange of words.

The friendship of two neighbors got into a rough patch until Eddie's tooth cracked because of his invented "Badass Cereal Treat," also called BACT. Eddie and Emery wanted the Frosted Flakes, but Jessica got them the variety packs. In order for them to get another set of Frosted Flakes, Eddie made BACT that he and Emery tried to consume until he cracked his tooth. If it wasn't for Eddie's cracked tooth, Louis and Marvin wouldn't have apologized to each other, according to Entertainment Weekly.

"Fresh Off The Boat" Season 3 Episode 6 ended with Jessica accepting Evan's new Sunday activity. However, Evan took a step back on one Sunday and headed to Costco with Jessica instead when she least expected it. "Fresh Off The Boat" Season 3 Episode 6 is titled "WWJD: What Would Jessica Do? and the next episode continues on December 6 on ABC.
