'The Winds of Winter' Release Date, News & Update: GRRM Determined To Finish The Sixth ASOIAF Book, Limits Appearances On 2017!

George RR Martin's "The Winds of Winter" remains to be the most anticipated book to date. Good news because the celebrity author announced that he is limiting his public appearances in 2017 until the sixth "A Song of Ice and Fire" book is done.

There is no doubt that many are waiting to see "The Winds of Winter" on the bookshelves. Initially, GRRM announced that the book will be out before "Game of Thrones" Season 6. The "ASOIAF" fans hope but were left disappointed.

"GoT" Season 6 is over and the HBO's hit TV series is already prepping for its final season. However, "TWOW" remains to be out of sight.

Fans are divided when it comes to the delay of the release date of "The Winds of Winter." Some are supportive as long as George RR Martin delivers the same quality output. However, others think that the scribe is losing focus on the book due to his several public appearances.

Parent Herald previously reported that "TWOW" is delayed because it is the longest book in the novel series. However, some fans blame it to the author's busy schedule and his constant appearances in conventions, book signing and TV guestings.

Finally, GRRM has provided an update about the book. For sure, many will be happy because the genius scribe is determined to finish the book by limiting his appearances in 2017 until "The Winds of Winter" is published.

The celebrity writer also announces that he will be joining the Guadalajara International Book Fair. "This is my last scheduled event for 2016. My appearance schedule for 2017 is very limited, and will remain so until WINDS is completed," George RR Martin wrote on his blog.

GRRM also calls out fans to see him there for book signing as this is his last schedule for the year and he will be limiting his appearances next year after until his book, "The Winds of Winter" is done.

Will George RR Martin be true to his words this time? Will he finish "The Winds of Winter" in 2017? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
