Nina Dobrev And Ian Somerhalder Spend Thanksgiving Together: TVD Casts Do Mannequin Challenge

"The Vampire Diaries" lead actress Nina Dobrev seems to have enjoyed this year's Thanksgiving a lot. The TVD star spent the long excursion weekend with co-star Ian Somerhalder and the rest of the TVD gang on the beach while sharing highlights of the escapade to her thousands of followers on social media.

Amidst controversies surrounding her return on "The Vampire Diaries" final season, Dobrev took a time off to spend quality time with friends on Thanksgiving. According to Hollywood Life, the actress took to Instagram to share captured moments of her short getaway to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico's Baja California peninsula.

In one of her posts, the TVD star flaunted her gorgeous body as she strikes a pose on her super sexy two-piece swimwear. Dobrev said she and her gang were in the mode to play "Sunday Funday #CaboGobble fashion."

Who Say also featured another post from the actress' IG account where she is seen rising from the water on water-jet fly boards. For a couple of moments within the video, Dobrev keeps her stability even as suspended mid-air, ending the unique dive into the water. The "xXx: go back of Xander Cage" celebrity wittily captioned the clip with "found my sea legs."

The activities that Dobrev and her gang enjoyed in their Cabo experience include jet-skiing, banana boat-driving and eating at the guffawing Marlin on the jetty Boulevard, in line with Hollywood existence. Before their Thanksgiving vacation ended, the gang executed their own version of the hit Mannequin challenge by the beach.

In the meantime, rumors of Dobrev's highly anticipated come back to "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 are still going around. Executive producer Julie Plec drops an interesting clue hinting that the similarities between Georgie's and Katherine's loss of life on the display aren't all accidental. Will Dobrev really return as Katherine in the TVD finale?
