According to Rotten Tomatoes, a number of TV specials and movie marathons are airing this Christmas season so be assured that there will be no shortage of great shows to entertain the whole family. One marathon special is "Wreck the Halls Block" which will feature a number of horror movies such as "Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D" and "Cabin in the Woods" which will start airing on Fuse starting Dec. 19 until Christmas Day.


If you are craving for classic holiday flicks, then you can catch "Meet Judy Garland in St. Louis" and "Christmas in Connecticut with Barbara Stanwyck" on Dec. 12, 15, 22, and on Christmas eve on TCM. Marathon specials of family favorites such as "Rio" and "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" are airing on WGN America on Dec. 24. You may also want to watch specials such as "An American Girl Story-Maryellen 1955" which is available via streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

Meanwhile TV Guide came up with a list of the most popular Christmas movies of all time. Topping the list are classics such as "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" followed by "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and "How The Grinch Stole Christmas." To complete the top 5 holiday movies are "Frosty the Snowman" and "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town."
