"Ark: Survival Evolved" taming process is both overwhelming and fun because of many factors involved. Some of the predators may even become pets once tamed properly. So, all factors must be properly executed for a greater chance of success, and survival of course. The only thing that "Ark: Survival Evolved" player must bear in mind is that different dinos require different taming elements. Here's the guide.

Argentavis

This is one of the best birds in "Ark: Survival Evolved," for it has longer stamina and can carry a wide variety of creatures. However, they are highly aggressive and territorial. They will attack you if you get too close. To tame them, first is to shoot them with tranq arrows to force them to low ground. Then, when they are about to go down for a kill, shoot them again in the head and get out of the way. Fill them with fish, meat, kibble, and a heaping of narcotics. Taming them takes time, but it's all worth it.

Argentavis are great for traveling in the open world. They are also good for killing creatures and foes, as well as harvesting prime meat.

Beelzebufo

Beelzebufo is a large frog, larger than a man even. In order to tame them, simply tranq them and fill them with meat and narcotics. They naturally create cementing paste if they consume small insects like Titanomyrma and Meganeura.

Brontosaurus

This is one of the largest creatures in "Ark: Survival Evolved." Although they are not entirely aggressive, they can inflict a huge amount of damage once provoked. To tame them, shoot them with tranq arrows but be sure to keep your distance and avoid any attacks. After this, fill them with kibble, vegetables, and berries, once they are awake. Much like the Castoroides, as their level increases, they taming requirement also increases.

Once properly tames, they can gather vegetation, despite them being slower than slow. On the bright side, a mobile home can be built on top of them.

Castoroides

Also known as the beaver, Castoroides does not attack any entity, be it a player or another creature, unless aggravated to do so. In order to tame this giant, simply hit them using tranq darts and fill them with kibbles, Mejoberry and other generic berries, and vegetables. Note that when choosing a specific Castoroides target, as the level of the creature increases, so does the requirement for taming them. They can be easily found near rivers, busily constructing dams.

When properly tamed, they are a major resource for wood, the most necessary material in "Ark: Survival Evolved." They also store large quantities of cementing paste, rare flowers, rare mushrooms, and silica pearls in their dams.

Dung Beetles

When looking for dung beetles in "Ark: Survival Evolved," you can usually found them in caves. They should be tamed non-violently as they can be really aggressive regardless if they are level 1 or level 200. The only difference is the weight they can carry, meaning you can load more Feces on them. Don't knock them out, just simply fill them with feces.

Dung Beetles are important for making organic turrets with Plant Species X or creating a solid berry garden. Make sure to put up a pen so you won't have to tame them all over again. Their feces can be made into fertilizer , which is precious commodity in "Ark: Survival Evolved." This is used
