HBO Offers A New Space Drama ‘Glare’ May Be The Next Best Thing On TV; Find Out Why!

Fresh from the success of "Westworld" Season 1, HBO is coming up with another science-fiction series so viewers will soon have another space drama to watch with the title, "Glare." This drama which will consist of hour-long episodes promise to be another thought-provoking series since the executive producer will also be J.J. Abrams, the same person behind the series starring Rachel Evan Wood.

According to Variety, this new drama from HBO will explore the possibility of humans inhabiting another planet and probably all the possible alterations that can arise from that endeavor. For now fans of the HBO series can guess which planet would be the setting of "Glare."

As of this writing no other information about the HBO series "Glare" is yet to be disclosed. Since the project, "Glare" is currently in the earliest stage of development, the public need to wait a little longer for a possible release date announcement as well as news about cast members.

Aside from Abrams, Ben Stephenson and Javier Gullón will also be its executive producers. It was reported that the talented Spanish writer, Gullón has already started to work on its script. As per the Hollywood Reporter, Gullon is committed to the project due to a blind deal he has with the Bad Robot Productions which was owned by J.J. Abrams.


Moreover, "Glare" will be the first TV project of Javier Gullón who is also the mind behind the 2013 film, "Enemy" which featured Jake Gyllenhaal and directed by Denis Villeneuve. Gullón caught Hollywood's attention for writing the script for the upcoming suspense movie "478" starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kevin Zegers, and Mariana Klaveno.
