The ‘Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild’ Pre-Order For The Wii-U Still Active Despite Rumors.

The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild" is one of the most anticipated games for the upcoming Nintendo Switch and the Wii-U. However, a rumor is currently spreading across the internet that the Wii-U version is canceled.

The rumor was based on a Japanese blog post, according to GameTransfers which states "[Rumor] WII U was being developed in "The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild" new work is discontinued development!," Some comments on the post like the one from (Mark) who states that he works for GameStop confirms the cancellation stating that "The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild" listed in their inventory is for the Nintendo Switch only. Another comment states that the reason for the cancellation is due to the chaotic development and that the Wii-U cannot keep up with the game, and that the confirmation will be on December 19, 2016.

Nintendo has yet to comment on these rumors, in fact, Nintendo's website still has the Wii-U version of "The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild" listed. "The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild" posting on Nintendo's website contains links to Amazon, Best Buy, ToysRUs, and Walmart who are still accepting pre-orders for "The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild" for the Wii-U as of today. If the rumor is true, then those retailers should have already tagged the game unavailable or removed the preorder button.

The Nintendo Wii-U is already had its share of rumors which remained rumors. If ever the Wii-U version of The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild is confirmed then a lot of Zelda fans would be disappointed knowing that they need to purchase a new console to play the game. Not to mention the hype Nintendo created and invested among it loyal fans will all be put to waste.
