The period of the nineties has produced great movies and TV series and reviving the said shows are becoming a trend nowadays. After the trailer release of the movie version of "Baywatch" and the recent reboot of "The X-Files" come another announcement involving a 90's hit. The film which came out in 1992 fared so well in the box-office then by earning $48 million when the projected returns, only $16 million.

The story of 'Single White Female" follows the story of a software designer, Allie (Fonda) who searches for a roommate after breaking up with her fiancée. The new roommate will eventually be Hedra (Leigh) who will be obsessed with Allie and will soon reveal psychotic tendencies.

Folks who have seen the film though may be glad to know that the creators of the show are planning to tweak the plot a bit to give the show a fresh approach according to The Bustle. This plan will also prevent the show from being predictable.
