Bestselling Author J.K. Rowling Confirms She Is Busy On A New Novel; Can It Be The Next 'Harry Potter'?

J.K. Rowling is more than a bestselling author. Through the immense success of her "Harry Potter" series, Rowling created an icon that defined a generation. According to Time, the 51-year old British writer said that she is currently working on two novels. J.K. Rowling confirmed this news through social media when she answered a fan who asked if she will write new novels. This fan must have been thrilled when the famous novelist said that she will soon release two new books.

The famous novelist even adds details of her new projects, explaining that one of the two novels will be under her pen name, Robert Galbraith. Rowling kept silent about the topic of her upcoming novels, but the pen name probably means that one of them will be the next of her "Cormoran Strike" series because this one is written under the pseudonym, Galbraith.

As to the second novel, fans can only hope that it can rival the phenomena created by the "Harry Potter" series. All seven books of the "Harry Potter" are a huge box-office success and launched the career of actors, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint.

She also mentioned that she has just finished writing the script for the next, "Fantastic Beasts" movie which is actually a "Harry Potter" prequel. J.K. Rowling's screenwriting debut, "The Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them" is a huge success as well after earning about $720 million and receiving positive reviews as posted in Wikipedia.

"The Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them" stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, and Ezra Miller. The original screenplay for this film was likewise released as a hardcover book.
