‘The Haunted’ A New Horror Series Will Star Lyndsy Fonseca & Elizabeth Cappuccino; What Other TV Shows Will Soon Premiere On Syfy

The TV network, Syfy is all set for 2017 with a line-up of new shows that will soon premiere on the channel. Some of the upcoming TV series to watch out for in Syfy include a supernatural thriller, "The Haunted," an action-fantasy show, "Happy," and a science-fiction series, "The Machine." For the series, "The Haunted," the show creators have reportedly found two of its lead stars which are Lyndsy Fonseca and Elizabeth Cappuccino.

According to an article in Starburst Magazine, the plot of "The Haunted" will revolve around siblings, Juno, Hester, Virgil, and Ellis who after the death of their parents would have the chance to be with each other again. The four characters would have to come to terms with their differences and deal with the past to live in harmony and survive.


Lyndsy Fonseca who also appeared in the series, "Nikita" will play the role of Juno, one of the four siblings with strong beliefs on science. Elizabeth Cappuccino from "Jessica Jones" will take on the role of Hester, someone who is passionately seeking the essence of her existence. The writer for "The Haunted" is Noga Landau and the executive producers are Todd Cohen and James Frey.

Meanwhile, other shows to watch out for in Syfy are "The Machine" and "Happy!" as reported in Variety."The Machine," is an adaptation of the movie about artificial intelligence that stars Toby Stephens and Caity Lotz. This TV series will tackle the conflicts that can arise with the intertwining of technology advancement with human instinct. The directors of "The Machine" are Caradog James and John Giwa-Amu.

Then "Happy!" is an adaptation of a graphic novel written by Grant Morrison. This story centers around Nick Sax, a police officer turned hit-man. Sax's life is bound to change through the presence of an imaginary winged horse which is bursting with positivity.
