'Frank And Lola' Boasts Of Impressive Performance From Its Lead Actors!

The movie "Frank and Lola" boasts impressive performance from its lead actors. This generally gave the movie good reviews after its release on Dec. 9, 2016. The movie's twists and turns also contributed to movie critics and moviegoers' positive feedback.

The movie which revolves around the obsessive chef who works in Las Vegas meeting a mysterious woman. However, the relationship is not all the perfect because it has been mired with infidelity.

Because of this, the relationship became enveloped with paranoia which makes it a nightmare. This complication makes for a relatively good psycho-thriller.

However, the movie also comes with its own fair share of critics. According to Rotten Tomatoes, the rating of 65 percent belongs to the satisfactory, mediocre, and safe side of the scale. It is not failing but it can certainly do much better.

 

The 38 percent of viewers which expressed their liking for the movie is also considered discouraging. There were a total of 1,685 user ratings used to come up with the ranking.

Rex Reed of New York Observer and a top critic said that the movie "Frank and Lola" is an exercise of voyeurism. Shannon is too good for this nonsense, and Poots has got to do something about the disastrous name.

In spite of critics' disliking the movie "Frank and Lola," there are also those with good words to say about it. Stephen Mayne of Under The Radar said that even with too much focus on the former character, Frank and Lola, buoyed by Shannon's performance and Ross' acute eye for the seediness of his environments, is a commendable debut.
