'Believe' Is A Movie About Helping The Community With Reservations; Did Not Rate So Well With Movie Critics!

The movie "Believe" did quite well as it was released last month nationwide. It is supposed to a good movie to be shown during the Yuletide season, it being about helping the community but critics did not like it as expected.

The movie "Believe" is about how one businessman Matthew Peyton struggles between his desire for financial success and the responsibility of funding the annual Christmas pageant. Because of the status of his business, Peyton faces the problem of ruining his popularity from unpopular business decisions he had to make.

The desperate business decisions also sprung angry employees who are relentless in seeking revenge. As a ray of hope, the business owner meets a young boy who believes in miracles named Clarence. This is when Peyton is faced with the decision of doing what's best for himself or opening his heart to help his new friend Clarence and the entire community as well according to Rotten Tomatoes.

The movie "Believe" has an inspirational theme to it. It showcases the beauty and joy of helping others, sacrificing a little bit of one's personal gain. However, there are factors that are missing for it to be considered a well-made film.

 

According to Joe Leydon of Variety and a top critic, the movie is schmaltzy faith-based drama isn't quite a lump of coal, but it's not a Christmas present either. Josh Terry of Desert News, Salt Lake City said the the director Billy Dickinson's Christmas movie means well, but muddled with flawed writing which kept it from achieving its goals.

The movie "Believe" also only registered 20 percent on the site's ranking. However, at least it encouraging to know that 71 percent of 694 users said they liked the movie.
