At this day and age, streaming movies is one of the best options for those who are too busy or too lazy to go to the cinemas and watch a movie. 2016 was a good year for Hollywood as many great movies were released and if you have not watched them yet or if you want to re-watch them, here is the list of the top six 2016 movies that could be streamed on Netflix and Hulu.

"The Jungle Book." This 2016 movie is a live-action remake of the hit animated flick of Disney. It was one of the most successful live-action movies of Disney and it is about an orphan boy surviving the wilderness with his animal friends. Netflix just signed a deal with Disney regarding their new releases, and by new they mean 2016 movies, so this flick is now easily accessible to viewers at home.

"Barry." For those who aren't so happy that Barack Obama is leaving the presidential post, this is the flick for you. Netflix was able to have an exclusive rights deal on this Obama biopic. It is directed by Vikram Gandhi and shows Obama's struggling years. The year was in 1981 and it shows him before he pushed himself to his political ambition and it was about him struggling with his biracial identity and the aftermath of the death of his father, Huffington Post reported.

"Zootopia." This is another Disney movie and is one of the best flicks since it was enjoyed both by kids and kids at heart. The movie is about a bunny trying to prove herself in a society that has questioned the abilities of the animal as a police officer. The moral of the story is about prejudice and equality.

"Alice Through The Looking Glass." Slate reported that this is available both on Hulu and Netflix. It is a live-action movie showing Alice returning to London and coming across and magical looking class then going back to the magical realm of Underland. Her friends, the White Rabbit, Absolem, the Mad Hatter, and the Cheshire Cat were all featured in the flick.

"Captain America: Civil War." The movie showed the split of the Marvel superheroes into two teams. It is noted as one of the most thrilling action movies of last year.

"The Little Prince." Another heart-strings-tugging movie is this animated flick. It was based on Antoine de Siant-Exupery's classic novel of the same name and was re-imagined by Mark Osborne. It centered on the story of a daughter who was pressured by her mother to do well in school. However, an elderly aviator messed up her schedule and "The Little Prince" became a narrative regarding life of busy schedules and adventures. The girl also learned to care for the elderly aviator.
