Jessa Duggar And Ben Seewald Welcome Baby No. 2, First Snap Shared On Instagram Hours After Birth [PHOTO]

Jessa Duggar and her husband Ben Seewald have welcomed baby number 2 and the proud parents shared a photo of their newborn on Instagram hours after he was welcomed to the world. Duggar gave birth to her second son on Feb. 6 at 4:26 a.m.

The 24-year-old shared on her Instagram a photo of their second baby, who was asleep and was wearing a blue long-sleeve onesie. She wrote on the caption, "#BabySeewald2 is here and we couldn't be more in love!"

Their baby weighed 8 pounds and 11 ounces and was 21 and 3/4 inches long. After Duggar gave birth, the family also released a statement saying the mother and her newborn son are both doing well.

They added in their statement they are thankful for the new precious gift of life and are excited they have grown to a family of four. They thanked their fans for the well-wishes and prayers, Us Weekly reported.

The two did not reveal their baby's name yet but many believe Duggar dropped hints on Instagram. Inquisitr reported on February 2015, Duggar took to Twitter to post a quote and it was from an English Baptist preacher named Charles Spurgeon.

This was nine months before she welcomed her first son, Spurgeon. As per the latest posts of Duggar on social media, the names that have appeared are Tozer and Peter, but the couple is yet to comment on this theory.

As for the new baby's big brother, Spurgeon, the couple said they know their first son will do a great job in his new role as an older sibling. Spurgeon is now 15 months old.

Aside from Jessa and Seewald, her sister Jill Duggar is also expecting her second baby with her husband Derick Dillard. It is unclear when Jill will be giving birth.

For their first and second son, the mom underwent ultrasounds to confirm the gender of their baby and never told anyone until their children's birth. The arrival of their second baby might be featured on their TLC show, "Counting On." The series airs Mondays at 8 p.m.
