Adele Says No To $50 Million Deal For 4-Year-Old Son's Sake, Planning Baby No. 2

Multi-awarded hitmaker Adele, 28, is finally taking a well-deserved break from her successful world tour. Despite her downtimes, however, the offers and deals keep coming and the latest is a $50 million (£40 million) contract to star in a reality TV show on primetime.

Adele, however, rejected the offer for the sake of her 4-year-old son, Angelo. Daily Star reported that she doesn't want her little boy in the spotlight.

No details have been divulged about what the show would be about or which network made the offer to the "Hello" singer and her family. A source claimed that Adele's likeability as a mom clicks with many companies that the offers keep coming.

"Her down-to-earth approach to her success and her maternal side are huge plus points for marketing firms," the source said, adding that its American companies who especially love the British singer's sensibilities. Her agent, however, did not comment on the source's statements.

Meanwhile, Daily Mail reported Adele could be keen on getting pregnant with her second baby with partner Simon Konecki. An insider apparently revealed that the couple, who have been together since 2011, have talked about having another child.

Adele was heard saying she was going to have another baby during one of her concerts in Phoenix, Arizona. "[They] feel now is the right time," the insider said. The "When We Were Young" singer apparently wants to conceive by the time her tour ends in London in July so she can finally take a longer break.

Angelo is going to start school soon and Adele never wants to miss her son's milestones. If she were pregnant with baby number 2, Adele won't also have to be traveling around the world for her shows. She can stay home and take care of her growing family and rest on her laurels as a hit music artist.
