Amal Clooney Pregnancy: Why She Will Make An Amazing Mom To Twins, George Clooney's Mother Reveals Babies' Gender

The excitement following the announcement that George and Amal Clooney are having twins hasn't died down. There's a high expectation from this Hollywood couple to become the best parents, considering their credentials and pedigree as accomplished individuals.

According to Romper, Amal would make an amazing mom to twins because she is already an inspiring persona as 39-year-old human rights lawyer. Amal also holds a high regard for her own mother, Baria Alamuddin, and she will likely pass down the same values and parenting skills to her children.

Husband George described his wife as "an amazing human being," according to Entertainment Tonight in 2015. "She also happens to be one of the smartest people I've ever met," George said in recounting why he fell in love with his wife of nearly three years.

George's mom Nina Clooney also thinks Amal will be a great mother and would make "an amazing parenting team" with her son, according to Us Weekly. Nina revealed that the couple told her and husband Nick of the pregnancy together.

"It was lovely," said Nina. "It was just a personal moment."

One of George's best friends, Matt Damon, is also thrilled for the couple. The actor has been one of the first people to learn of the pregnancy and he admitted to crying about it because he believes George hit the jackpot with Amal.

"She is a remarkable woman," Damon said, according to another Entertainment Tonight report. "They're gonna be great. They're gonna be awesome parents," the actor added.

Nina apparently dished that the Clooney couple will have one of each child, a boy and a girl, Daily Mail reports. Amal is expected to give birth to their first-born children in June.

Before marrying Amal in 2014, George was Hollywood's most eligible bachelor in his '50s. The actor and the lawyer dated for only six months before they agreed to take the plunge.
