Child Who Lost Her Tooth Had Face Mask Ready for Tooth Fairy

A seven-year-old girl in Holland, Evolette Westhouse, who lost her tooth, had a face mask ready for the tooth fairy following the protocol to keep protecting oneself from the coronavirus.

Evolette's mother, Kayla Westhouse, shared on her Facebook page that earlier this month, her daughter lost her tooth, so she asked her mom to make a face mask for the tooth fairy. This mask is to protect everyone from contracting the virus.

Kayla explained the fairy could not get infected

Kayla explained to her daughter that the fairy could not get infected, but her daughter asked her how confident she is that the fairy is safe from the virus. Evolette told her mom that they should be careful and added that if ever the fairy does not need the mask, then she may just leave it behind and let them know in a note.

Evolette also pointed out that the fairy had to enter her six-foot bubble to get her tooth from under her pillow. She stressed that it is a tooth that was once in her mouth, which contains many "germs."

The little girl also asked what if, after coming into their house, the fairy then goes to another house, and the kid who lost a tooth has "germs," which could get her infected if she does not have a mask.

Evolette got her mom to sew the fairy's face mask

After the debate, Kayla had no choice but to head on to her sewing machine to make her 178th mask, which is for the tooth fairy. After she made the mask, she tells her daughter that now, she can tell all the other children that the tooth fairy is safe.

Along with the mini mask, Evolette left a letter and wrote that her mom made it for the fairy, and then asked for a present for her dad because it is his birthday.

The tooth fairy left a message thanking Evolette for being a considerate young lady. She also said that she is so happy because she could not help spread the germs as she goes from one place to another. Adding to that, she also wished Evolette to have a happy day and wanted the little girl to deliver the fairy's message to Kayla, thanking her for making her mask.

Finally, the tooth fairy reminded Evolette to tell her mom that she loves her as often as she can because she seems like the best mom. 

The post garnered 30 thousand likes and shares and since many people were concerned about the dad, Kayla decided to edit her post. She said that the dad was the one who helped the tooth fairy to write her reply so she initially thought to leave that part out.

The tooth fairy also left a dollar under Evolette's pillow for her dad's birthday.

In the past few weeks, Evolette and Kayla have been making face masks for their family and neighbors. The little girl was tasked to run a pipe cleaner at the top part of the mask to create a flexible seal around the mask's nose.
