Congratulations are in order as the Academy Award-winning actress recently revealed that she is pregnant with not one but two babies, as she and her husband are expecting twins.

Hilary Swank is pregnant at 48 with her husband, Philip Schneider, the actress announced Wednesday on Good Morning America (GMA), People reported.

The "Alaska Daily" star said that she has wanted to become a mother for a long time, and to talk about it and share her joy is just so nice.

She raved that her pregnancy and the fact they have two angels are total blessings and miracles. For sure, far more than a million-dollar baby's worth.

The actress further revealed that twins run in both her and her husband's families, making them "so excited" for the next and new season of their lives as parents.

'Double feature'

A few hours after announcing the wonderful news on television, the "Million Dollar Baby" actress took to Instagram and posted a video of her holding her belly and showing off her baby bump. She captioned her post with, "Coming soon... DOUBLE feature," with two baby angel emojis.

The post shocked friends and co-actors in the industry, who reacted with joyous "Wait, what" comments and expressed their congratulations. These included Kate Hudson, Tabitha Brown, Sharon Stone, Maria Sharapova, and Katie Couric.

The actress did not inform her "Alaska Daily" production team about her pregnancy until after the announcement came on GMA that she is already in her 2nd trimester.

She shared that there was an instance when her clothes would not fit anymore, so she needed to cut her jeans open and wear a jacket that was not in continuity. The crew saw it and stated that what she was wearing wasn't in continuity, and she just said that it would work, to which they disagreed until she said that she would make it work. They gave in to her, saying that she could do whatever she wanted as an executive producer but commented, "this is weird."

Man of her dreams

Swank and her husband, a social venture entrepreneur, married in August 2018. Two years prior, they were first spotted together in November 2016.

The wedding proposal happened one evening in Colorado, in a "beautiful sanctuary deep in the mountains," and a stunning waterfall. Schneider dropped to his knee in front of the waterfall and asked her to marry him in front of her dogs as witnesses.

Swank described their wedding as "timeless," telling Vogue that there were no other words to best describe it.

The actress expressed that it was a dream come true, being able to marry the man of her dreams and being surrounded by all the people they love in "such a profound setting."
