'The Last Of Us 2' Release Date And Update: Might Come Earlier Than Expected

There have been numerous video games out in the market that took the gaming world by storm; some of these video games have had numerous installments under their name and such. One of those video games that made video game history is Naughty Dog's "The Last of Us" and, recently, there could be a second installment for "The Last of Us" soon.

New reports claimed that the creatives behind the critically-acclaimed "The Last of Us" have been brainstorming for a while now on what plot line and characters they'll have for "The Last of Us 2" and now they have revealed that the release date might come sooner than expected. Despite Naughty Dog being extremely busy with their game schedules, especially that the game developers are working on another of their famous game "Uncharted 4," it seemed that "The Last of Us 2" was their least priority.

However, Neil Druckmann and Bruce Starley of Naughty Dog revealed they finally have an idea of what they can give fans for "The Last of Us 2" and that could speed up the process. Nolan North, the voice actor of Joel in "The Last of Us," first teased about the possibility of a sequel for a game during a press conference at Metrocon in Tampa, Florida.

Game developers in Naughty Dog teased fans as well that they are working on a sequel but was weary to say that the planning was still at a very early stage and that developers might pull out of "The Last of Us 2" production. It is yet to be officially confirmed by Naughty Dog whether "The Last of Us 2" is truly happening.

Naughty Dog studios is in a roll these days, with the upcoming release of "Uncharted 4" and rumors of "The Last of Us 2" being released this 2017.
