Thanks to FOX Russia, fans are given a peek into the upcoming episodes of "The Walking Dead Season 6." When "The Walking Dead Season 6" returns Chandler Riggs, who plays Carl Grimes, will get into an unsavory situation. Furthermore Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick Grimes, says that "The Walking Dead Season 6" will be treated to a time jump.
The Inquisitr reports that FOX Russia released a promotional image for "The Walking Dead Season 6" midseason premiere, which shows Carl Grimes with a bandage over an eye. Whatever causes the injury and whether this becomes a permanent blindness remains to be seen.
In an earlier report by Cinema Blend, this injury will have a significance in eventually bringing Carl and the villainous Negan, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, together. Based on the comic book, Carl will attempt to fight Negan. Rather than anger, Negan will respond to Carl in admiration.

Cinema Blend also reports that "The Walking Dead Season 6" will fast forward to a few goings on. This was revealed by Lincoln while talking about why Rick Grimes and his band of survivors will stay in Alexandria altogether.
"A lot of these concerns and questions get answered relatively quickly in the first two or three episodes of this back eight," Lincoln said. "There is a time jump, I will say, at some point. And you will see why we stay in Alexandria."
According to Entertainment Weekly, "The Walking Dead" creator Robert Kirkman assures that the time jump won't happen at "The Walking Dead Season 6" midseason premiere. "It comes back to those plans of rebuilding Alexandria," Kirkman said. "Assuming some people survive, and it's a good bet that some do because they've already talked in the midseason finale that they're not planning on leaving Alexandria."
However, when the time jump does happen, Cinema Blend reports that Lincoln revealed that fans will see an entirely new Rick. "I think you'll see there's a marked change in Rick as a result of what happens in episode 9," Lincoln shared.
"It's one of those watershed moments that happens. And as a result he learns something vital about being a leader. And yet again, he changes. And he develops a new way of leading. And that could be said for the back 8, in that it turns very dark."
Rick was last seen covered in guts and crossing through a throng of walkers with Carl, baby Judith, Michonne (Danai Gurira), Jessie (Alexandra Breckenridge). The pregnant Maggie (Lauren Cohan) was left on the watch tower while Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Enid (Katelyn Nacon) tried to figure out a way to go back into Alexandria.
On the other hand, Daryl (Norman Reedus) with Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) were held up by "The Saviors." All will come to a head when "The Walking Dead Season 6" returns on Valentine's Day.
