The huge success of the "Harry Potter" book series as well as the "Harry Potter" films will always be something of a reminder of good books having been done justice with their movies and J.K. Rowling, author of "Harry Potter" has been generous of her success. The 10-year span that the "Harry Potter" films have taken in the industry makes it one of the most followed stories, somewhat everyone grew up watching the film and reading the books.

Though it is sad that the original seven "Harry Potter" book saga had to end, J.K. Rowling was kind enough to always update the fans through the website Pottermore and even releasing another story from inside the Potter universe "Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them." Now, Rowling has more to give, the "Harry Potter" author will be releasing a book version of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child". There will be two parts to "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child."

Although Rowling originally planned "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" to be a stage play, she believes that the publishing of a paperback book of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" will only be fit because there are many people who will not be able to watch the play. The "Harry Potter and Cursed Child Part I and II" hardback edition will be released this coming July 31 after the stage play has debuted.

The events in "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" will take place 19 years after Harry Potter defeated darkwizard Voldemort at the Battle in Hogwarts. "Readers and moviegoers last saw Harry waving off his children at Platform Nine and Three-Quarters, 19 years after the Battle of Hogwarts, in the epilogue to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child picks up after that moment and is staged in two parts, due to the 'epic nature of the story'," the announcement on Pottermore read.
