The success of the superhero film "Deadpool" was a sure thing, with its already large follower in the comic book aspect and when it was made into a film, of course a majority of "Deadpool" fans would back up the infamous hero and help the film become a box office hit and that is exactly what happened. Like any successful superhero film, "Deadpool" is likely to get a second movie and yes it will have a second movie and the question in everyone's mind, will "Deadpool 2" be bigger than the first "Deadpool" in action scenes?
"Deadpool" director, Tim Miller, has break his silence about how big "Deadpool 2" will be and, according to him, it will be big but the scale of "Deadpool 2" will be the same of that in "Deadpool." If movie goers will notice, "Deadpool" did not rely much on big explosions unlike that of other superhero movies, instead, it relies more in the writing an off the wall nature, which made everyone fall in love with the movie.
Some fans may not like this idea since the success of "Deadpool" might call on to have more bazzinga in "Deadpool 2" but some other fans may agree on this one with Tim Miller. "Deadpool" is not known for the special effects and the blowing up of stuff.
"Deadpool" already has charm and wit in its own way, and the action scenes all just make it better even without all the big explosions that some of the Marvel Universe superhero films have and that makes "Deadpool" a great film. Applying that to "Deadpool 2" will also make it into a great superhero film.
"I don't think bigger is better," Miller said. "You tell a story that's organic to the character, that it fits. Deadpool's world doesn't mean you have to go bigger. I don't think the fans of this movie liked it because we had big effects, i think they liked it because it had a lot of heart, it had humor and it had action and a main character that's different than anything else that's out there"
"I wouldn't mind a little more money for visual effects, but I dont think thats going to make or break the character," Miller added on. "If you were to do that, it wouldn't be honest to what he is and why people like him."
