'Teen Wolf' Season 6 News & Update: No New Love Interest For Scott: Lead Star Remains Single; Tyler Posey Can Relate To His 'Teen Wolf' Character On Being Loveless

One of the most talked issues about "Teen Wolf" Season 6 is Dylan O'Brien's return in the series, following his accident while filming "Maze Runner 3." However, O'Brien is only one of the major characters in the series and there's a lot to talk about aside Stiles like Scott and his love life.

Scott Will Remain Loveless In 'Teen Wolf' Season 6

Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) has endured a failed relationship more than once in the "Teen Wolf" series. At the time, the lead character is loveless and many are wondering if he will find a new romance in "Teen Wolf" Season 6.

Parent Herald previously reported that Scott might find a new love in "Teen Wolf" Season 6. Per Zap2it, the main character could potentially fall in love again with Lydia, Malia or Allison. Allison is his first love and some are hoping that the character will return.

For those who want to see the True Alpha with his new woman in "Teen Wolf" Season 6, you will be disappointed because per Tyler Posey, his character will remain single in the new "Teen Wolf" season.

"It was something I've always been interested in because from the very first episode of 'Teen Wolf' he falls in love with Allison [Crystal Reed] and then they break up and he immediately meets Kira [Arden Cho] so there wasn't really much single time for Scott," Posey told Entertainment Weekly about his character's love history in the "Teen Wolf" series.

Tyler Posey Can Relate To His 'Teen Wolf' Character

In real life, Tyler Posey is also single just like his "Teen Wolf" character, Scott after his split with his then-fiancee Seana Gorlick in 2014. Posey admitted that he can relate to his small-screen alter ego.

"In my experience, in Tyler Posey's world, it's kind of always been that way too," Posey said. "This is the first two years I'm really single, so I relate to it with Scott and I thought it was something that every person has to go through in their life, grow on their own and really figure out who they are. That's kind of what's going on with Scott [when the show returns]."

Posey admitted that its fun playing the romantic side of Scott in "Teen Wolf." However, he also believes that keeping the character single will do good for Scott because he can concentrate on his responsibilities.

Do you agree that it is best for Scott to remain loveless in "Teen Wolf" Season 6? If you want a new romance for the character, who should be with him? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
