MacBook Pro 2016 Latest News, Specs & Price: MacBook Pro Features Skylake, TouchID And Apple Pencil; Price List Included

MacBook Pro 2016 is soon coming and the buzz is, it is going to be a real game changer for the laptop industry. Fans of Apple will agree that waiting a bit more is worth it although the tech giant did not provide any information about the MacBook Pro 2016 during its September 7 event.

As expected during the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus event at Apple's San Francisco event, Apple provided a great iPhone replacement for iPhone 6 with better cameras and battery life, no headphone jack and bigger storage plus the Apple Watch 2 was also launched. However, fans were expecting more than the iPhone 7 launch but any announcement for the MacBook Pro 2016 was mostly anticipated.

The lack of announcement during the September 7 event also lead to speculations that the MacBook Pro 2016 would be announced this October, according to Macworld. It has been years since the tech behemoth provided its Apple consumers with a new MacBook Pro, so Apple not saying anything regarding the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 was a bit disappointment.

While Apple has been overly quiet regarding the release date and specs of the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016, speculations regarding the upcoming price, specs and release date have also been circulating. Since Apple did not provide announcement last time, CNET concluded that the impending release of the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 will be on 2017.

The upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 will also be able to compete with Dell and HP since the two computer companies will be moving to Intel Kaby Lake processors this fall. The MacBook Pro 2016 will be featuring Skylake which will allow for its battery to last longer and would make for a faster equipment.

MacBook Pro 2016 will also feature USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C ports to which will make it faster than the older models of MacBook. It is also possible that the upcoming MacBook Pro will feature a power button TouchID tech and an Apple Pencil support. It will also offer a touchscreen OLED display instead of having the function keys.

Reports regarding the price for the MacBook Pro 2016 will depend on its entry level. Since Apple mostly keeps its prices similar between generations, it is expected that the price may start at around $1,100 for its entry level to $2,200 for a 15-inch Retina display.

Of course, we would still need confirmation regarding the specs and prices for the MacBook Pro 2016 from Apple. We may just have to wait a bit longer to see how it goes.
