As the 33-year old model never really looked anything but gorgeous, her recent revelation about the end of her marriage to Bloom is quite surprising.
In an exclusive interview with magazine, Elle Canada Miranda Kerr admitted that she had to battle depression after separating with the "Pirates of the Carribean" actor. The "Swarovski" endorser further added that she had never really understood what depression feels like before the breakup with Bloom.
In an article from Motto, Miranda Kerr described herself as a positive person who loves to laugh so the wave of sadness that hit her because of the fallout of her marriage was a feeling she was not accustomed to. The famous model though acknowledges the many lessons she learned from the experience and shared what helped get through that difficult phase in her life.
According to Kerr, meditating two times a day and practicing yoga made her realize that she can influence her reality by controlling the thought that goes inside her mind. Moreover, Miranda Kerr practices healthy eating and chose to start her day with grateful thoughts.
Even after the split, Miranda Kerr remained friends with Orlando Bloom with whom she has a 5-year old son, Flynn Christopher. The Australian stunner is now engaged to Snapchat CEO, Evan Spiegel while Orlando Bloom is in a relationship with singer, Katy Perry.
Nevertheless, Miranda Kerr's revelation will serve as an inspiration to others who might be going through depression and anxiety. The Australian model is the cover for the Dec 2016 issue of Elle Canada Magazine.
